Søåsegård Ferie is located centrally in North Zealand between Helsingør and Hillerød in the charming village Sørup.
Søåsegård is located directly adjacent to the »Fredensborg Golf Club«, and less than two km from Fredensborg Town, which offers many good restaurants and a good selection of shops.
Sørup is an idyllic and beautiful village located on the shore of the Lake Esrum.
The lake has 3 harbors and Sørup Harbor is the oldest. Until a few years ago it was in use for commercial fishing.
Today the lake is mainly used for angling, and at »Skipperhuset« one can buy a fishing license and rent boats.
In the summer Esrum Lake is used for sailing, surfing and swimming.
The Ice-Cream Parlor »Drachmann’s Pavilion« and »Restaurant Skipperhuset« are located in the northern end of Sørup.
The latter also offers direct access to the Fredensborg Palace Park
